artsparks on the boards (ASOTB) meets once a week to learn to dance, sing and act. They also make costumes and sets for their plays. Participants put a lot of creative energy into developing their own characters and building a storyline, which then is put into the script. Last Spring, ASOTB put on a play called Dry Heave Undressed: chronicles (stories) of a town on the edge. A musical with a multi-layered plot and lots of characters, its performance was a great creative achievement for members of the troupe. It was performed to a full house, and received rave reviews. This winter, ASOTB continues to build on the previous production with A Dry Heave Christmas, to be performed in 2008.
